These gifts are perfect for people you don’t know well but should gifts to anyway like some coworkers, employees, neighbors, or for big parties. These wines don’t have to match everyone’s palate perfectly but should look nice, taste good for most people and be generally popular wines. Good ideas for crowd pleasing wines include Cabernet, Malbec, or Sparkling wines. Here are some of our favorite crowd pleasers:
Why Cabs? Cabernet Sauvignon is the #1 selling varietal in the US! This means that most people will be accustomed to profile of Cabernet even if they know little about wine. Also, cabs make some of the world’s best wines meaning it is both accessible to people’s palate and can provide spectacular quality.

Good – La Gioiosa Prosecco NV – A apricot noted and rich prosecco that is a cut above the typical fare who are normally less ripe and too sweet.
Better – Louis Dumont Champagne NV – An incredible value for champagne with fine mousse, crisp fruit, touch of minerality and notes of brioche.
