Somm’s Picks for July 2016
Indulge in a fruity and structured wine this summer such as Arrowood cab. A great value and sure crowd pleaser.
The incredibly concentrated dark red and blue fruit married with flinty minerality and hints of mocha make this one of the best Garnacha’s in Spain!
The old vines that Breca come from were planted between 1925 and 1945.

Not your average rose, with more red fruits joining the palate of citrus and white fruit and a touch more body. This is Provence rose evolved.
The climate of Provence is surprisingly cool due to the Alpine breeze known as the “Mistral” winds.

Howell mountain is one of Napa’s benchmark regions and Cade one of its best producers. Huge yet elegant, fruity yet refined, powerful and layered; this is another phenomenal 2012!
Cade has a very famous brother winery: Plumpjack. As of 2012, their family grew again with the addition of Odette Winery.

This Arrowood cab is the best they’ve made in years. Dark and rich yet approachable with layers of spice this is one you won’t be able to put down.
Despite Napa being more famous than Sonoma, Sonoma was making wines more than 40 years before Napa.
